When you send a message
The contact form asks for your name, reply email, and message. I use that information to read and respond to you. Messages are sent through Resend to my personal Gmail inbox. Your contact fields are not stored in the website database, application logs, analytics, or website backups.
Messages remain in my personal Gmail inbox until I manually delete them. There is no automatic deletion schedule.
To ask me to delete a message, use the contact form and identify the email address you used. I may need to confirm that the request comes from you. Email providers may retain technical records or backup copies under their own policies.
Cookies and information about visits
I do not add advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recordings, or visitor profiles. I do not sell visitor information or use contact messages for marketing.
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. These services may process technical information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time, to deliver and protect the website. The private editor uses authentication, but public readers do not need to sign in.
To limit spam, the contact form keeps short-lived request counts linked to a daily-changing, one-way identifier. These counts do not contain your name, email, or message and stop counting after their daily window. Records become eligible for removal after 48 hours and are physically removed when a later contact request runs; they can remain longer if no request arrives.
Sites provides aggregate traffic reports that I can use to understand readership. This website does not run a separate analytics script. This application does not add custom analytics events, precise location tracking, or contact-content analytics.
Cloudflare also sets a security cookie called __cf_bm to help detect automated abuse. Cloudflare says it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. This is separate from advertising or analytics tracking.
Service providers
Hosting and email services process information needed to operate their services. Their policies explain their handling of technical records: OpenAI, Cloudflare (including its security cookies), Resend, and Google / Gmail.
